Research Focus: Latin American Literature and Cultural Studies.
Background: I graduated from Universidad de los Andes in 2009, with a bachelor's degree in Literature. Later, I completed my MA in Vanderbilt University with a specialization in Latin American Literature. Currently, as a graduate scholar in the PhD program at Notre Dame, I’m focusing my interest in the study of Monstrosity as a master trope to understand the cultural history of Latin America.
