Research Focus: Latin-American Literature

Background: Ingrid Luna graduated from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia) with a double major in Literature and Political Science. She also earned her M.A in literature in this institution and since 2013 she is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Literature at Notre Dame.
Her research interests lie in the area of Latin-American literature and film. She has focused in the carnival and popular festivities representation, indigenism and gender studies. Her works have been published in Convergencias and in Revista de Crítica Literaria Latinoamericana.
